Young professionals
Within your first days at OMTCO, you will be allocated a mentor from the College, depending on your personal aptness and choice.
Young professionals are immediately working in direct contact with our clients, from the very first day. You will work side-by-side with experienced consultants who will provide you with intensive expertise and on-the-job experience. You will also participate in advanced methodological and expertise training, in order to enhance your value to our customers.
Experienced consultant
Should you already have acquired previous expertise, your opportunities for development are both challenging and particularly rewarding. Experienced consultants will eventually become College members. Your mentor from the College will oversee your subsequent development.

Profiles
We are currently looking for people with the following profiles:
SAM (Software Asset Management) Consultant
Tasks
SAM Consultants provide key guidance and direction to our clients, assisting in defining and implementing SAM projects, implementing and rolling-out SAM tools, and delivering line operations in SAM related areas. They provide both expertise and technical resources to develop and mature our customers’ SAM initiatives. SAM Consultants should be familiar with the key concepts of software licensing, including that of Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, Citrix and C-Vendors. They are also involved in licensing-relevant areas: Vendor Audits, Licensing Consultancy, Compliance Reviews, etc.
Experience and qualifications
Candidates should already have significant experience:
- Working knowledge of SAM tools, for instance SmartTrack, Spider LCM, FrontRange License Manager, or SNOW License Manager
- Experience with technical scan tools, for instance TAD4D/iLMT, iQSonar, etc.
- Experience with ITIL, ISO 19770-1, etc.
Skills
Candidates will need strong communication and presentation skills, feel at ease in customer environments, and have a good command of English.
Position
This position will require intensive travelling within Germany and abroad to our customers.

Software Licensing Experts (All vendors)
Tasks
Software Licensing Experts consult with our customers regarding the licensing of one or more vendors, e.g. top vendors such as Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, SAP – or C-vendors such as Citrix, INFOR, Attachmate, etc.
Furthermore, they are involved in licensing-relevant areas: Vendor Audits, Licensing Consulting, Compliance Reviews, etc.
Software Licensing Experts should be familiar with the key concepts of software asset management, e.g. Vendor Audits, data collection, licensing consultancy, internal compliance reviews, etc.
Experience and qualifications
Candidates should already have significant experience:
